Pregnancy Support

Preparing for a baby isn't just about buying tiny clothes and packing a hospital bag. It's an opportunity to think about how you want to enter this next chapter — emotionally, practically and together.

My prenatal support sessions offer a space to slow down, talk things through and prepare for the realities of birth, early parenthood and the changes that come with becoming a family.

Sessions are personalised to where you are and what you need. You might want to explore your hopes and preferences for birth, work through fears or questions, reflect on a previous birth experience, or prepare together as a couple for the transition ahead.

Birth Mapping

Birth mapping is an opportunity to explore what matters to you about your upcoming birth and develop a clearer sense of your preferences, options and decision-making tools.

Rather than creating a rigid birth plan, we can explore the different possibilities, identify what helps you feel safe and supported, and consider how you might navigate unexpected changes while remaining informed and empowered.

Preparing as a Couple

Having a baby changes a relationship as much as it changes an individual. These sessions give you and your partner space to talk about the transition before you're in the thick of it.

We can explore expectations around parenting, division of responsibilities, communication, emotional support, intimacy, sleep, visitors and the mental load - as well as how you want to stay connected when life becomes busy.

Making Sense of a Previous Birth

If you've had a previous birth that didn't go as you'd hoped, preparing for another baby can bring up a complicated mix of emotions.

These sessions provide space to gently revisit your previous experience, make sense of what happened and identify what you may want to carry forward — and what you would like to approach differently this time.

Whether you're feeling anxious, disappointed, angry, uncertain or simply want an opportunity to talk through your experience, we can create space for that before you move towards your next birth.

Your preparation, your way

Prenatal sessions can be booked individually or combined to create a more comprehensive support package. Every family is different, so sessions can be tailored around your previous experiences, your hopes and concerns, and the kind of preparation that would feel most valuable to you.

Postpartum Doula Support

The early weeks and months with a new baby can be beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming and completely unlike anything you have experienced before. You don’t have to navigate them alone.

As a postpartum doula, I offer practical, emotional and nurturing support to help you feel cared for while you care for your baby. My role is not to tell you how to parent, but to meet you where you are, listen to what you need and help make this season feel a little more manageable.

What I can offer

Practical support at home
Helping with the everyday things that can feel impossible when you are feeding, settling and caring for a baby. This might include light household tasks, preparing simple meals, organising the kitchen, laundry or helping you get things done so you can rest.

Nurturing support for you
A chance to slow down and be cared for too. I can make you a cup of tea, prepare something nourishing to eat, hold or settle your baby while you shower or rest, or simply sit with you and listen.

Emotional support and a safe space to talk
Becoming a mother can bring up a huge range of emotions. I offer a non-judgemental space to talk through the realities of early motherhood, including feelings of overwhelm, identity changes, relationship shifts, confidence, expectations and the adjustment to this new chapter.

Baby and parenting support
Practical, responsive support as you get to know your baby. We can talk through newborn behaviour, settling, sleep, feeding, routines and the many questions that inevitably arise in those early days. My approach is centred on helping you develop confidence in your way of parenting.

Partner and family support
The transition to parenthood affects the whole family. I can support conversations around sharing the load, changing roles and expectations, and finding ways for both parents to feel supported and connected.

Motherhood and Matrescence support
There is more to becoming a mother than learning how to care for a baby. I can support you through the emotional and identity shifts of Matrescence - making space for who you were, who you are becoming and everything in between.

Tailored to you

No two families need the same kind of support. Some parents need practical help around the house, others need someone to talk to, and sometimes what is most valuable is simply having another calm, experienced person beside you.

My postpartum support packages can therefore be individually tailored to your family, your circumstances and the kind of support you need most. We can work out together what would be most useful — whether that is regular ongoing support, a helping hand during a particularly challenging period, or a combination of practical and emotional care.

You can book support as a package or get in touch to discuss what might work best for you.

TOTAL INVESTMENT:

The EMbrace Package:

$1200 - 10 hours of in-home or virtual support. Each postpartum visit around 2 hours in duration.

The EMpower Package:

A little extra support, exactly when you need it

Sometimes you don't need a package. You just need some support.

For those times when you need an extra pair of hands, a listening ear or simply someone experienced to come alongside you, I also offer flexible postpartum support by the hour.

Perhaps your partner has returned to work, you're having a particularly difficult week, sleep deprivation is catching up with you, or you simply need some time to yourself while someone you trust is there to help with your baby and the practicalities of home.

Hourly support can be tailored to what would be most helpful on the day - whether that's practical help, baby support, a nourishing meal, time to rest or simply having someone alongside you.

EMpowered Mothering is built on one simple belief: you were never meant to mother alone.

Every mother deserves to feel held as she learns to hold her baby.
